Fall Is Here, so Let's Decorate with Pumpkins!
Fall has arrived and that means it’s time to decorate with pumpkins. So here’s a bit of inspiration!
Fall offers a lot of possibilities to have more home life fun, and you can also decorate with traditional, typical, and adorable pumpkins.
Beyond Halloween celebrations, this seasonal fruit offers great shapes and colors to put on the table, in the yard, or in the entryway. Are you ready to have fun with them?
Let’s decorate with pumpkins – a tradition with a legend
Carved pumpkins, or jack-o-lanterns, with a light inside find their origin in an old Celtic tradition in the villages of Scotland and Ireland. According to legend, the devil went looking for Jack, a drunken con artist farmer who was able to escape on Halloween night.
Years later, when he died, they denied him access to heaven. So the devil condemned him to roam for eternity, granting him only one wish. So Jack asked for a lantern to light his way. Then the devil gave him an ember which he inserted into a turnip after removing the pulp.
Later, when the legend arrived in the United States, the turnip was replaced by a pumpkin. This was because pumpkins were more available than turnips and easier to carve. After that, people put carved pumpkins with a candle inside and scary faces outside their houses to frighten the devil away

As a centerpiece
We suggest that you create an attractive centerpiece combining different shapes and sizes. For instance, you can paint and customize them to better coordinate with the rest of your decor.
Another option is to forget using an actual pumpkin. Instead, you can make decorations out of fabric and burlap. The best thing is that it’s a fun craft to do with children on a rainy afternoon when you can’t leave the house.
Here, we’ll show you how to do pumpkin crafts. As a finishing touch, you can add pieces of wood as a base, which will make it a perfect decoration for the table.
Option for those who don’t care for Halloween
Another idea along the same lines is to put different pumpkins around a jar of large and eye-catching flowers. This will give your home that fall flavor without turning it into a night for witches.
A touch of glam for elegance
If your decor is sophisticated and with a touch of glamour, you’re going to love this option. For example, you can paint the pumpkins whatever colors you like, adding some rhinestones and beads for a perfect adornment in any house.
Decorate with illuminated pumpkins
Because the light adds that romantic atmosphere and warmth that you like, this is a classic that’s a “must have” in your home. Try to make a cute design and fill it with led lights.
Afterward, put the pumpkin wherever you like. It’ll look great in the entryway to your house or in your yard if you have one. Pumpkins can decorate your fall nights and create a very pleasing space where you can gaze at the stars.
