1. Make garlands for your nursery

Garlands are really beautiful decorative elements, and great for decorating bedroom walls. To make your own DIY garlands, you’ll need the following materials:

  • Strips of fabric or colored paper
  • Scissors
  • String

Try to recycle as many elements as you can, using items from around the house that you no longer need. If you decide to make your garlands out of fabric, you could use a combination of old clothes, bed sheets, curtains, for example. Pick out the colors and patterns you like best, and you’re ready to start making your garlands.

Cut the fabric into strips of equal length and width. Next, take your string, and tie the strips of fabric side by side along its length. Try to alternate different colors and patterns.
