If your child loves the world of Disney, why not give them a Disney-themed children’s birthday party?

The variety in the type of characters means you’ll be able to choose between princesses, baddies, heroes, or characters for either a younger or older age, depending on the characters they like.

Disney-themed children’s birthday parties offer a world of illusion and magic which will delight young children (as well as older ones!).

We’re going to give you a series of ideas to organize Disney-themed children’s birthday parties.

For guests, invitation cards are the first sneak peek at the party. To show a little preview of what to expect, you can use your child’s favorite Disney character.

It’s easy! You simply need to find a picture,  print it on a card, and write all the information inside for the party.

Disney-themed party decoration

Disney-themed decoration is extremely wide and diverse, meaning there are plenty of ideas to choose from.

Tablecloths and cutlery

Disney tablecloths can be found in many shops and are great for children while they’re eating. You can also use plates, cups, and even serviettes with characters on them.

Balloons

What would a party be like without balloons? They can be in the shape of a Disney character, a car from the Cars film, or a minion from Despicable Me.

If you’re on a limited budget, we recommend that you use alternatives such as normal balloons in different colors, and stick a picture of each character on them. At the end of the party, you can give each child a balloon with a character.

Piñatas

Piñatas are one of the most exciting things at children’s birthday parties. Choose one shaped like a Disney character and fill it up with sweets. It’ll be such fun!

Disney wall patterns

In addition to the ideas we’ve listed above, you can also decorate the walls. Many Disney-themed wallpapers exist, for example, Sleeping Beauty’s castle, Toy Story’s playroom, or Peter Pan’s boat.

Party food

As well as decorating your house and sending out invitation cards, you can also decorate the food. If you like cooking, you can do it yourself. If not, you can order biscuits in the shape of Disney characters. This is a little extra to give each child to go home with after the party.

Another option would be making cupcakes, matching the colors to the characters, and adding a picture of the character on top of each. Cupcakes are very trendy at children’s parties for their eye-catching appearance, but also because they are so tasty!

The birthday cake

Among party food, the cake is the most important element. Who hasn’t seen these themed cakes which are out of this world on the internet or social media? For your child’s birthday party, the cake needs to be the key element of the Disney theme.

Many bakeries make wonderful and really tasty cakes to specific requirements. By doing this you could have your child’s birthday party dream-cake. It can have different layers and each can be decorated with a different character. In the case of princesses, heroes, or baddies you can use a layer for each character.
